Knitware™ Design

• The current version is 2.5 which was released March 2005. A maintenance release, 2.50.2, was issued in April 2005. 

• Each Knitware™ program (Basics, Sweaters, Skirts & Shawls) is available as a "full program" or a "standard upgrade". The Sweaters program also has a "special 2.2.2 upgrade.

• All Standard Upgrades require that you have a registered copy of an earlier version of the program you are upgrading. If you have not registered your software, please do it now then close that window.

• If you have version of the Sweaters program that came in the Instant Stitch package (called 'Sweater Design' in the package) you have version 2.22 of the Sweaters program.  There is no upgrade for this program and you will have to purchase the full program.

• All documentation for all Knitware programs is provided as Adobe PDF files. It is installed with the product CD, but can also be downloaded from this website.  Note: Updates/corrections to the documentation will be posted on the website on the download page. You are always downloading the latest version of the documentation.

• Washington State residents will be charged a sales tax of 8.4%, even for downloads

Downloads

Download the Trial Version (not all functions enabled)  Then when you purchase the program, you will be sent a serial number.  When you start the program and enter the serial number, you "activate" the "trial" program so it becomes a "full" program with all functions enabled. You only need to enter the serial number once, unless you reinstall the program.

• Effective June 7, 2006, all Knitware™ programs are priced as downloads. You are free to make backup CDs of the downloaded software for your personal use only.

• If you wish to have the software sent to you on a CD, you need to order the CD separately, and an additional charge of US$5 plus Shipping & Handling (S&H) will be added to your order. [Note: The CD does not "count" for discounts.]
