100% Cotton.  8/4, 1,860 yds/LB.  Made in America. Ring spun.  CottonTale is colorfast and does not bias.  Knits beautifully in stockinette, fairisle, tuck and slip and is especially nice for children's clothes, and adult sportswear.  Care: Machine wash warm or cold, gentle. Tumble dry till 3/4 dry, then shake and lay flat to finish drying.  Gauge: On the standard gauge machine, knit 1 strand at stitch size 9 - 10, gives a gauge of 7 - 8 stitches, 11 - 12 rows per inch.  Knit it on the Garter Carriage at stitch size 8 or 9.  On the mid-gauge, knit 1 strand at stitch 4 (3 on antenna mast), gives a gauge of approx 5.5 stitches, 8 rows per inch.  Can also knit 2 strands on mid-gauge.   

  These are discontinued dye lots of CottonTale 8. Most are harder twist than they are supposed to be, and some have a slight shade variation.
